The Wolfberger 2024 Alsace Pinot Blanc is a vibrant, 100% Pinot Blanc white wine crafted by the historic Wolfberger cooperative in Eguisheim, France. Locally referred to as Clevner, the Pinot Blanc grape variety is a white mutation of Pinot Noir that thrives in the terroir of Alsace, producing exceptionally well-balanced wines that strike a perfect middle ground between bone-dry Rieslings and intensely sweet Gewürztraminers. On the nose, this youthful 2024 vintage opens with a fresh, pure bouquet of delicate white peach, crisp green apple, and bright citrus energy, layered with subtle undertones of white flowers and a distinct hint of raw almonds. The palate is remarkably clean, crisp, and smooth, showcasing a surprisingly creamy, velvety texture that perfectly balances its refreshing, average acidity. It finishes beautifully with a dry, clean, and harmonious lift, maintaining an approachable 11.5% alcohol by volume.
