Wade 2019 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Net Priced Wine
Winemaker Notes
Wade Cellars was born out of Dwyane Wade’s love of the great wines of Napa Valley. Inspired by the opulent Cabernet Sauvignons of this famed American wine-growing region, Dwyane sought the advice and mentorship of his friend Jayson Pahlmeyer to collaborate in the production of Wade Cellars. Since the first vintage in 2012, the production range has expanded to a diverse collection of wines that are inspired by California’s rich winemaking tradition with a healthy dose of Dwyane’s style.
Oakville is arguably the best fruit that one can find in the Napa Valley. Our picking decisions were guided by the idea of showing the best expression of one of the Valley’s best regions. The Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for a period of 18 months in French Oak – 60% of which was new.
The Wade Cellars 2019 is packed full of flavors that are multi-dimensional, and while it carries densely layered palate, the final wine is still sleek and refined. The fruit carries a darker tone of blackberry and black currants, mixed with red cedar and holiday spice.
