A dynamic Cabernet Sauvignon exclusively from our top tier vineyard sites and most exceptional blocks in Beckstoffer Georges III in Rutherford, & Candlestick Ridge Vineyard Howell Mountain.The Black Aces is ageable with structured tannin profiles, a great concentration of richness and power. It is a classic of its style. Aged in 65% new French Oak, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon has initiated a restless urge to create great wines to rival the most exceptional wines of the world.

Vineyard 36 was created by a shared vision and a common goal to create unique and exceptional wines. Nothing comes to fruition simply because someone declares it so. The Black Aces has beautiful purity in its cassis and darker berry fruits, and it's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a focused, elegant, nicely balanced profile. It reveals more violet, loamy earth, and chocolate notes with time in the glass, and it's going to benefit from just a few years in the cellar and have 15 years of prime drinking.
