Bramble berries, clove, tobacco, black currants, slight hint of menthol. Juicy, soft, giving, full bodied, yet tidy and precise. This is mostly Zinfandel, with Petite Sirah, Carignane and Alicante Bouschet from vineyards planted around the bay area town of Oakley in Contra Costa County.
