Crafted entirely from Clone 685 Cabernet Sauvignon grown on 101-14 rootstock, this vintage opens with a striking bouquet of blackberry, currant, lavender, baking spices, licorice, roasted meats, and savory herbs. The palate is rich and layered, showing excellent depth and balance, with ripe black fruit framed by polished tannins and a lingering finish. The wine’s characteristic essence of blueberries and mineral undertones adds freshness and complexity, making it both powerful and refined. While still youthful, it benefits from decanting and promises to evolve beautifully over the next 15 years or more. Its bold yet elegant profile makes it an ideal partner for hearty dishes such as grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, or herb-crusted lamb, while its savory and herbal notes pair seamlessly with wild mushroom risotto, roasted root vegetables, or aged cheeses like Comté and blue cheese.
