Pazo Pondal "Mila" Albarino

This fantastic value Albarino is produced by one of our new favorite Albarino producers, Pazo Pondal.  Their estate is located on the north bank of the Río Miño, in Arbo (Pontevedra), one of the best sub-regions for Rías Baixas D.O. Albariño. They converted all vineyards over to organic farming in 2015. Their $20 Albarino has been our best seller for the last 2 years, so we were delighted to get a new wine from them at a different price point and style. Lighter bodied than the Leira, the Mila is loaded with exuberant fresh citrus aromas of Meyer lemon and lime with touches of white peach, jasmine and eucalyptus. Finishing light and crisp with a briny, mineral palate.
