Raptor Ridge 2023 Vineyard Select Pinot Gris

As a clonal mutation of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris can exhibit some red fruit character and texture depending treatment in the winery. Raptor Ridge's version, created in an Alsatian style, exhibits fuller body and balanced minerality due to extended lees contact making it the ideal pairing for hard cheeses and charcuterie, fattier fish dishes. An intense nose portraying pretty honeysuckle tones alongside white peach and pink grapefruit blossom. The palate is fresh, vibrant and impeccably textured with layers of pretty orchard fruits that mingle with kumquat and shades of baking spices.
