Winemaker Notes 

deeply expressive red made from 100% Mataro (also known as Mourvèdre). It pours a slightly opaque deep purple and opens with a fragrant bouquet of black currant and black raspberry, layered with hints of smoked meat and tar. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied with medium-plus acidity, offering a savory mouthfeel. Flavors of stewed black plum and cured meat dominate, accented by cassis, black pepper, cocoa, and subtle notes of black olive and cedar. The finish is dry with well-managed, moderate tannins, making it a great match for braised short ribs or a charcuterie board
