L.A. Cetto Petite Sirah

L.A. Cetto is the biggest winery in Mexico established in 1975. Their 2018 Petit Sirah is great value under $15 and the wine is robust, dark and rich with black currant, black plum, smoked meat and cedar spice flavours vibrant on the palate. Grapes for this vintage were sourced from the Guadalupe Valley from vines between 18 and 25 years of age. Petit Sirah (Durif) is a cross between Syrah and Peloursin.

Food pairings: lamb cutlets, hamburgers, espresso and cocoa-rubbed flank steak, black bean soup, cheese.
