Jolie Folle Rose de Mediterranean (1L)

 Since they decided to do a liter size bottle instead of the usual 750ml, French rules don't allow for them to state that it's actually from the Cotes de Provence and they can only use the more generic VdP Mediterranae designation. Which is fine with us, we're all for a producer who's willing to stick to their principles and deliver the best wine they can at the best price regardless of rules and regulations. Jolie Folle translates to "crazy beautiful" and this Grenache & Cinsault rose blend lives up to the name. 

This classic, pale pink rosé opens with bright, high-toned aromas of fresh strawberry, crushed raspberry, and subtle wild herbs. The palate is clean, lively, and thoroughly dry, driving into a crisp mid-palate focused on juicy watermelon rind and a delicate hint of apricot.
