With a legacy of fifteen perfect scores over the past decade, Wraith is widely regarded as one of the highest-rated wines on Earth, a pinnacle of winemaking artistry and prestige.
Tasting Notes
This vintage opens with a deep garnet-purple hue and a complex bouquet that unfolds slowly with patient swirling. Aromas of iris, dark chocolate, anise, and cassis emerge, followed by a core of juicy plums and earthy, loamy undertones. On the palate, it is full-bodied and architecturally structured, with firm, fine-grained tannins and a refreshing backbone that elevates its intricate perfume to an epically long finish. The wine is rich and powerful yet maintains a sense of weightlessness, showcasing silky tannins and a blockbuster finish. Its layered profile of red, blue, and black fruits, graphite, sappy tobacco, and spring flowers makes it an ideal companion to dishes like herb-crusted lamb, dry-aged ribeye, or wild mushroom risotto. The wine’s depth and elegance also pair beautifully with aged cheeses such as Comté or a truffle-infused Brie.
