Great Value Whites Mixed Case –  June & July 2026

$208 value for just $140

As we move into  summer, it is time to refresh our value-focused white wine sampler with a selection that favors vibrant acidity, textural interest, and a sense of place. This collection has been put together to provide a versatile range of styles, from the saline, mineral-driven coastal wines of the Loire and the sun-drenched, heritage-focused whites of Southern Italy to an adventurous skin-contact bottling that challenges traditional perceptions. Each of these wines was chosen not only for its individual character but for its ability to elevate a meal, making them essential staples for your glass throughout the warmer weeks ahead. Whether you are looking for a sharp, Atlantic-influenced partner for shellfish or a structured, food-friendly Rosato that drinks with the elegance of a white, this sampler offers a sophisticated, expertly vetted journey through some of the most compelling regions in the wine world.

The mixed case includes 2 bottles each wine:

Paul Buisse Muscadet Sèvre et Maine (Loire Valley, France) – Paul Buisse is a long-standing family estate deeply rooted in the Touraine region, and their commitment to the Melon de Bourgogne grape is evident in this bottling. This wine is a quintessential expression of the variety, offering a bright, focused profile defined by its laser-like acidity. On the palate, one finds crisp notes of green apple, lemon zest, and a distinct, persistent maritime salinity. The estate’s focus on minimal intervention allows the pure, mineral-driven character of the soil to shine through, making it an unrivaled partner for oysters and coastal cuisine.

Domaine des Cassagnoles Côtes de Gascogne (Southwest France, France) – This estate has been in the same family for generations, located in the heart of the Gascogne region where they have perfected the art of crafting vibrant, high-value white wines. This blend of Colombard, Ugni Blanc, Chardonnay, and Gros Manseng delivers an exceptionally lively drinking experience that punches well above its price point. The nose is greeted by delicate aromas of white flowers, green herbs, and fresh white peach, while the palate remains zesty and balanced with a clean, mineral-driven finish. It is a textbook example of how the specific climatic conditions of the Southwest produce whites with both aromatic charm and structural integrity.

Librandi, "Asylia" Melissa Bianco (Calabria, Italy) – The Librandi family has been the standard-bearer for Calabrian viticulture for decades, consistently elevating the reputation of indigenous varieties like Greco Bianco. Sourced from the historic Melissa region (think the toe of the "Italian Boot"), this wine showcases the soul of Southern Italy. It presents a refined aromatic bouquet of Mediterranean herbs, pear, and citrus. On the palate, it is dry, vibrant, and remarkably poised, layering notes of nectarine and green apple over a firm, stony mineral structure that provides excellent depth and length. It is a sophisticated, terroir-focused wine that demonstrates the immense potential of Calabria's rugged coastal landscape.

Mercato Pesce Vino Bianco (Veneto, Italy) – Crafted with the specific intent of serving as an ideal companion for the dinner table, this Veronese blend—primarily Garganega, Chardonnay, and Incrocio Manzoni—is lush, expressive, and highly versatile. The winemaking team emphasizes a clean, fruit-forward style that does not sacrifice the structural tension necessary for food pairing. It offers an inviting combination of orchard fruit, specifically crisp apple and pear, underpinned by a vibrant lemon-citrus brightness. It maintains a medium-bodied, firm presence on the palate, ensuring it has enough weight to pair beautifully with a wide array of seafood dishes, from grilled white fish to shellfish pastas.

Masseria Borgo dei Trulli Primitivo Rosato (Puglia, Italy) – Produced in the sun-drenched vineyards of Puglia, this Rosato is crafted with the same precision and focus on quality as the estate’s red wines. Because this Primitivo is harvested early to preserve freshness, it retains an impressive, racy acidity that allows it to drink with the same structure and profile as a crisp white wine. It offers bright notes of wild strawberry, pomegranate, and red currant, balanced by a savory, crushed-stone minerality. Its dry, clean finish and persistent energy make it a perfect addition to a white sampler, offering both aromatic interest and a refreshing, food-friendly palate.

When Life Gives You Oranges Skin Ferment Vin Blanc (France) – This skin-contact white provides an adventurous and highly engaging departure from the more traditional selections in this lineup. Produced with a thoughtful approach to maceration, this wine displays a pale, sunset-orange hue and carries intense, evocative aromas of bitter orange, dried florals, and a subtle, savory nuttiness. It is vivid and well-structured, offering a degree of complexity and a textural grip on the palate that is rarely found at this price point. It is an exceptional bottle for those looking to expand their horizons, pairing exceptionally well with spiced, flavorful foods or an artisanal cheese and charcuterie spread.
