Gil Family "Kentia" Albarino
Tasting Notes
Gil Family Kentia Albariño shows the classic purity of the varietal, made entirely from Albariño grown in the cool, Atlantic‑influenced vineyards of Rías Baixas. The wine opens with bright aromas of lemon zest, white peach, green apple, and fresh apricot, layered with saline minerality and a subtle floral lift of jasmine and orange blossom. On the palate it is crisp, vibrant, and mouthwatering, carrying flavors of citrus, stone fruit, and a clean, briny edge that reflects its coastal origin. The texture is silky yet refreshing, finishing with a lingering note of lime peel and wet stone. Ideal food pairings include oysters, scallops, shrimp, ceviche, sushi, grilled white fish, fresh goat cheese, and light Mediterranean dishes where acidity and salinity elevate the flavors.
