Tasting Notes

Crafted from Saperavi grown in the Kakheti region of Eastern Georgia, this fruit forward red displays an opaque, deep ruby-purple hue characteristic of the ancient, red-fleshed teinturier grape. Cold-fermented in stainless steel to retain primary fruit freshness and a subtle natural sweetness, the nose opens with expressive aromas of ripe blackberries, dark plums, black cherries, and crushed mulberries, accented by hints of violet and cracked black pepper.

On the palate, a soft, juicy entry gives way to a round, silky mid-palate where lush dark fruit flavors are balanced by lively natural acidity and moderate, fine-grained tannins. The light residual sugar softens the grape’s inherent structural grip without feeling heavy, carrying through to a smooth, clean finish accented by lingering berry skin notes and subtle spice.
