Bodegas El Nido’s 2019 El Nido Jumilla Red is a deeply colored, glass‑staining purple wine with explosive aromas of blueberry, boysenberry, pipe tobacco, licorice, vanilla bean, raspberries, blackberries, chocolate, nutmeg, and dried herbs. The palate is full‑bodied, ripe, plush, and richly textured, showing candied dark fruit, floral tones, Asian spice, polished chocolate, and praline, all supported by firm, creamy tannins and a long, juicy finish that echoes boysenberry and spice.
