Barros Porto Ruby is a classic expression of young, fruit-forward Port from the Douro Valley, offering a deep ruby color and a vibrant aromatic profile. On the nose, it reveals layers of ripe blackberries, cherries, and subtle hints of bitter almond and spice. The palate is rich and sweet, with a fresh, fruity core balanced by a touch of mint and surrounding acidity that keeps it lively and approachable. Aged for about two years in oak casks before bottling, it maintains a youthful intensity and smooth texture.
