Aglianico del Vulture wines are 100% Aglianico grown on the volcanic soils surrounding the extinct volcano, Mount Vulture.

Many Aglianicos require years of cellaring before the intense tannins mellow and allow the fruit and smoky terroir to shine through, but the Alovini brothes have found a way to tame Aglianico's tannins. This is one of the most easy drinking, silky Aglianco wines we've come across in years. Hints of blackberry and blackcurrants mix with spicy, balsamic notes on the nose. Great structure on the palate and a long, persistent finish.
