Alovini 2019 Ninirosso Aglianico del Vulture

Many Aglianicos require years of cellaring before the intense tannins mellow and allow the fruit and smoky terroir to shine through, but the Alovini brothers have found a way to tame Aglianico's tannins. This is one of the easiest drinking, silky Aglianco wines we've come across in years. Hints of blackberry and blackcurrants mix with spicy, balsamic notes on the nose. Great structure on the palate and a long, persistent finish.
