Heinz Eifel 2016 Eiswein

 It’s silky sweetness is balanced by bright acidity, which makes it perfect to pair with richer desserts. In the glass it develops a beautifully zesty and fresh nose of candied apricot, orange jelly, pineapple and spicy pear, joined by riper notes of quince, pear puree, and almond cream after some airing. The wine is superbly balanced and refined on the palate, and leaves a rather pure and smooth feel in the very long and light finish. Delicious now and should age well for the next 30+ years.
