The 2021 Rosso di Montalcino lifts from the glass with a peppery mix of wild herbs and crushed black cherries. It's round with a burst of inner sweetness up front, yet also a dank minerality that takes over. Violet orals and rose tones linger through the nale, as this nishes with a licorice tinge.
