The wine is described as bold and brooding with sheet‑coating color and viscosity, delivering classic Zinfandel character supported by a small percentage of Petite Sirah for added depth. Earlier critic impressions of this cuvée highlight flavors of dark, baked plum, barbecued meat, cola, toasted oak, and spice, along with a velvety, intensely rich palate.
