The Pisoni family’s legacy began in 1982, when Gary Pisoni planted Pinot Noir on the rugged, windswept hillsides overlooking the Salinas Valley. His pioneering vision helped establish the Santa Lucia Highlands as one of California’s premier cool-climate wine regions.

Today, Gary’s sons, Mark and Jeff Pisoni, carry on the family’s commitment to excellence. Mark oversees the vineyards, while Jeff directs winemaking, crafting wines that consistently rank among California’s finest.

Their flagship, black-labeled Pisoni Estate Pinot Noir, is produced in limited quantities from select vineyard blocks, delivering exceptional concentration, complexity, and aging potential.
