Tasting Notes

Born from prehistoric volcanic soils of the Coombsville AVA, this wine showcases motes of blackcurrant, mocha, and cigar box encapsulated in an inky core.  Well-structured, and incredibly fresh in its youth, the wine envelops the palate with dense, concentrated flavors of macerated blackberry, dark chocolate, and coffee.  Persistent, fine-grained tannin and focused acidity create an impossible long, lingering finish that suggest this will reward the senses into the coming decades.
