Domaine de la Denante 2022 Bourgogne Chardonnay

This small, family owned estate in the Macon district of Burgundy takes its name from the picturesque and pristine stream that runs through the middle of the vineyard.A textbook Burgundy white wine with a pale golden color tinged with green highlights. The intense aromas of white flowers and dried fruit are typical of the region's top Chardonnays and on the palate it is fresh and lively on entry then showing stone fruits like peach and apricot, accompanied by citrus notes, particularly lemon softened by tropical grapefruit, finishing a sensation of softness and roundness.
