Alovini was founded in the 1980s by oenologist Oronzo Alò. This wine is made from 100% Aglianico, an ancient Italian grape varietal. Grown on 20-30 year old vines before being aged in French oak for 12 months, you can expect dark berry fruit complimented by notes of coffee and chocolate. Pair with game meats including mountain lamb or mature cheeses or cellar for up to 15 years after harvest.
