Plush and fruit-forward Napa Valley wine that showcases the craftsmanship of winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown. Composed entirely of Cabernet Sauvignon, primarily sourced from the historic Larkmead Vineyard with a touch from Policy Vineyard, it was aged for 22 months in 75% new French oak. In the glass, it reveals a deep magenta color and opens with aromas of spiced plum and cherry danish. The palate is smooth and dry, with soft tannins and a medium-long finish that carries notes of blackberry, blueberry, and subtle oak influences like vanilla and chocolate. Hints of leather, cocoa, and black licorice add complexity, while the wine’s mellow character and balanced structure make it approachable and elegant.
