Mauritson Family Winery 2022 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel Reflecting the classic brambly character of the Dry Creek Valley, this 2022 vintage is aromatic and energetic, featuring layers of ripe black cherry, pomegranate, and briar fruit. The nose is further complicated by notes of vanilla pod and roasted coffee beans, derived from 14 months of aging in French oak. On the palate, the wine is multi-faceted and velvety, offering a balance of sweet spice and forest floor that culminates in a long, fresh finish.

Ridge Vineyards 2023 Lytton Springs This legendary field blend from Dry Creek Valley continues to be a benchmark for balance and complexity, comprising 76% Zinfandel bolstered by Petite Sirah, Carignane, and Mataro. The 2023 vintage offers a powerfully aromatic profile of raspberry liqueur, white pepper, and licorice, framed by the subtle toast of air-dried American oak. Its structured elegance is defined by supple tannins and a vibrant acidity that suggests remarkable longevity, finishing with notes of black tea and savory garrigue.

Three Wine Company 2018 CMZ Red Blend A non-traditional and imaginative blend, the "CMZ" (Cabernet, Mourvèdre, Zinfandel) marries the structure of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with the soul of ancient-vine Mourvèdre and Zinfandel from Contra Costa County. This 2018 release is opulent and dark-toned, showing concentrated flavors of huckleberry and black currant accented by dried tobacco leaf and dark chocolate. Matt Cline’s expert handling of these heritage varietals results in a wine with surprising weight and sturdy tannins that glide into a long, dry finish.

Jeff Runquist Wines 2023 "Z" Zinfandel, Massoni Ranch Sourced from the historic Massoni Ranch in the Shenandoah Valley of Amador County, the "Z" is a refined expression of high-elevation Zinfandel. It presents a deep ruby-purple hue with a bouquet dominated by black raspberry, boysenberry, and dark cherry, accented by secondary notes of hazelnut and sandalwood from small-barrel aging. Martinelli Winery 2023 Vigneto di Evo Zinfandel Coming from the cool-climate Russian River Valley, the Vigneto di Evo showcases the Martinelli family’s 135-year legacy of estate farming. The nose is vibrant and inviting, hitting the senses with juicy raspberry, black cherry, and a hint of sweet molasses. It is immediately mouthwatering on entry, delivering flavors of pomegranate and red currant supported by firm tannins and a smooth, vanilla cream finish that lingers elegantly on the palate.

Turley Wine Cellars 2023 Cedarman Zinfandel A proprietary assemblage of fruit from the high-elevation Dragon and Rattlesnake Ridge vineyards on Howell Mountain, Cedarman is a serious wine with significant gravitas. The 2023 is dark and imposing, offering a wild aromatic profile of brambly mountain fruit, lavender, and mocha. Its bold structure is defined by broad, grainy tannins and a brooding finish of smoky sage and licorice, capturing the rugged, intense personality of Napa’s volcanic hillsides.
