Casa Lapostolle 2022 "Cuvée Alexandre" Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2022 Cuvée Alexandre is a masterclass in the structural elegance of the Apalta Valley. Sourced from biodynamically farmed blocks—some nearly a century old—this vintage is marked by a return to a cooler, more vertical style. The nose is remarkably fresh, showing a complex interplay of dark cherries, cassis, and fresh rosemary, underscored by a graphite-like mineral tension. On the palate, the wine is centered and fluid, balanced by a tight grip of crunchy tannins and a long, savory finish. It remains a definitive benchmark for Chilean Cabernet, balancing its lavish fruit core with a refined, athletic precision. 

TerraNoble 2021 "CA2" Costa Carmenère 

Representing the "Costa" side of the Carmenère spectrum, the 2021 CA2 is grown in the granitic soils of the Lolol Valley, just miles from the Pacific. Unlike the broader, more herbal expressions from the valley floor, this coastal bottling is defined by its vibrancy and life. The cool maritime breezes slow the ripening process, allowing for an aromatic profile of blackcurrants and blackberries layered with walnuts and crushed herbs. The palate is full-bodied yet remarkably fresh, featuring deep fruit flavors and well-balanced tannins that lead to a persistent, mineral-etched finish. 

Tabalí 2019 "Transversal" Red Blend

The 2019 Transversal is a sophisticated "mezcla tinta" that explores the diverse geography of the Limarí and Maipo Valleys. This blend of Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon is a study in mineral tension, particularly influenced by the limestone-rich Talinay vineyard. The nose is extraordinarily complex, moving from the floral lift of Malbec to the savory tobacco and blackcurrant notes of the Cabernets. It is a "nervy" and energetic red, characterized by the chalky, fine-grained tannins that have become a hallmark of the Tabalí style. 

Ana Maria Cumsille 2023 "Aguila" País 

Sourced from a single hectare of 200-year-old vines in the Itata Valley, the 2023 "Aguila" is a textbook example of the País revival. Fermented in traditional clay amphorae, this wine captures the ethereal and rustic soul of the region. The nose is highly perfumed, offering notes of wild raspberries, pomegranate, and a distinctive white pepper "funk." On the palate, it is juicy and light-to-medium-bodied, featuring the variety's signature rustic tannins but tamed into a silky, layered texture. Miguel Torres 2021 "Cordillera Vigno" Carignan

As a cornerstone of the Vigno movement, this 2021 bottling celebrates the heritage of dry-farmed, old-vine Carignan in the Maule Valley. The nose is intensely pigmented and aromatic, bursting with fresh currants and berries on a background of toasted spice. The palate is forceful and expansive, where the dark fruit profile is complemented by hints of bay leaf and mint. This is a vibrant, high-acid red with powdery tannins and a muscular structure that honors the resilience of these non-irrigated bush vines. 

Araucano 2024 "L'Atelier Humo Blanco" Syrah-Viognier 

The 2024 Humo Blanco is an aromatic, "natural" interpretation of coastal Syrah from the Lolol Valley. Inspired by the traditions of the Northern Rhône, a small percentage of Viognier is co-fermented to add a floral, violet-drenched lift to the Syrah’s core of blackberry and apricot. The wine is lively and fluid, emphasizing a sleek fruit texture and a tangy inner acidity preserved by the region’s signature morning mists. With notes of incense and forest undergrowth and a finish of velvety tannins, it is a modern, low-intervention expression of a maritime climate.
