Great Value Whites Mixed Case –  October and November 2026

$276 value for just $155

Our Fall Value Whites/Rose Case highlights how vibrant, high-character wines can be crafted at accessible prices when cool microclimates and thoughtful farming take center stage. Rather than relying on heavy oak or artificial richness, these 6 wines from 5 different countries draw their vitality from pristine geographic conditions—from the wind-whipped Leyda Valley in Chile and the high-elevation Alpine slopes of Alto Adige to the ancient soils of Campania, the granite hills of Portugal's Dão, the classic calcareous terroirs of southern Burgundy, and the foggy coastal stretches of Northern California. Each wine included here offers an authentic expression of place, defined by crisp orchard fruit, distinct salinity, energetic acidity, and fine textural depth, delivering an outstanding case designed for everyday enjoyment and versatile table pairing through the autumn months.

The mixed case includes 2 bottles each wine:

Aylin Sauvignon Blanc (Leyda Valley, Chile)
Aylin comes from Polkura, the small winery founded in 2002 by winemakers Sven Bruchfeld and Gonzalo Muñoz and better known for serious Syrah. For this Sauvignon Blanc they turn to the Leyda Valley, a cool, coastal site just a few miles from the Pacific, where ocean breezes and morning fog keep the grapes fresh and bright. Expect gooseberry, guava and crisp pear with a saline, almost sea-spray edge. James Suckling called an earlier vintage "fresh and a little saline." Leyda Sauvignon Blanc is far livelier than the grocery-store norm for the same price!

Cantina Tramin "T" Bianco (Alto Adige, Italy)
In the Italian Alps near the Austrian border, Cantina Tramin has united more than 150 small family growers since the 1890s. It's one of Italy's most respected growers' co-ops, known for Gewürztraminer that has earned perfect scores. The "T" Bianco blends Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards between 250 and 900 meters. It's hand-harvested, fermented in small steel tanks and kept fresh without malolactic fermentation. The result is a crisp, dry mountain white with orchard fruit, citrus and a floral lift.

Cave de Lugny Bourgogne Blanc (Mâconnais, France)
White Burgundy is simply Chardonnay grown in the place that made it famous. Cave de Lugny, founded in 1927, brings together hundreds of family growers across the Mâconnais in southern Burgundy. They were among the first to bring Mâcon wines to the United States. This Bourgogne Blanc is made unoaked and aged on its lees in the traditional style, so it's bright and fresh with citrus and green apple, plus a rounder texture from the lees. It's classic Burgundy, with no butter or heavy oak, so even if you don't normally like Chardonnay, preferring lighter, crisper whites, we think you'll love this one.

Freire Lobo "Vigno" Dão Branco (Dão, Portugal)
Elisa Freire Lobo grew up in a Dão grape-growing family and became the first woman to set up as a winemaker in the region. On her 15-hectare family estate near the Serra da Estrela mountains, she farms organically, with sheep grazing between the vines. Vigno is led by Encruzado, the Dão's signature white grape, from 60-year-old vines at about 600 meters. It's hand-picked, fermented with native yeasts and aged on its fine lees with no oak. Expect citrus, pear and a stony mineral core, with a creamy, textured finish.

La Capranera Falanghina (Campania, Italy)
Falanghina is an ancient white grape from southern Italy, and one of the region's best-kept secrets. La Capranera is the project of Giuseppe Pagano of San Salvatore, with renowned winemaker Riccardo Cotarella. It works with small local growers whose vineyards lie inside a protected national park near Paestum. There are no pesticides, and the winery makes its own natural fertilizers. It's medium-bodied and bright, with citrus, white flowers and stone fruit, and a lightly saline finish from the Mediterranean nearby.

Goldeneye North Coast Brut Rosé (North Coast, California)
Goldeneye was founded in 1996 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, pioneers of cool-climate California wine. This Brut Rosé draws on chilly coastal vineyards in Mendocino, Sonoma and Solano counties. It blends the three classic Champagne grapes: Pinot Noir for body, Chardonnay for brightness and minerality, and Pinot Meunier for floral lift. It's made the traditional way, with its second fermentation in the bottle, then aged 26 months on its lees for a creamy, fine-bubbled texture. Expect apricot, honeysuckle, lemon peel and brioche on the nose, and fresh strawberry, cherry and zesty orange on the palate.
