Great Value Reds Mixed Case – August & September 2026

$201 value for just $131

As Always, our Great Value Reds Case for August & September is designed to deliver wines of exceptional depth, terroir, and pure drinking enjoyment without breaking your budget. Featuring two bottles each of six outstanding selections, this 12-bottle collection spans some of the world's most dynamic wine regions, from the refined elegance of Oregon's Willamette Valley and the cool-maritime freshness of Australia's Langhorne Creek to the vibrant energy of Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Argentina. These grocery store priced wines showcase authentic regional character, remarkable balance, and superb versatility at the table, things you usually don't find in wines at this price you actually get at the grocery store.
The mixed case includes 2 bottles each wine:

Battle Creek "Unconditional" Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley, OR) - Aromatics of red plum and autumn leaves lead off, accented by subtle hints of lavender and boysenberry. On the entry, the wine shows bright, lively energy driven by natural acidity and concentrated fruit. The mid-palate delivers vibrant Bing cherry and ripe raspberry, grounded by soft, well-integrated tannins that carry through to a crisp, lingering pomegranate finish. This is an exceptionally well-crafted Willamette Valley Pinot Noir that delivers impressive focus, pure fruit expression, and effortless drinking pleasure.

Conde Vimioso Vinho Tinto (Tejo, Portugal) - Displaying a deep ruby cloak in the glass, this classic expression from Portugal’s Tejo region opens with elegant aromas of dark red berries,  black cherry, ripe plum, and gentle baking spice. The palate is wonderfully fresh and velvety, offering a mid-bodied texture packed with dark stone fruits and subtle mineral undertones. Vibrant acidity cuts through the concentration, leading into a smooth, clean finish framed by polished, approachable tannins. It showcases remarkable balance and traditional Portuguese charm in every sip.

Gun Dog Malbec (Mendoza, Argentina) - Rooted in high-altitude Mendoza vineyards, this robust red presents rich, dark fruit character from the first pour. Dominant aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, and plum mingle with underlying notes of wild game, earth, subtle smoke, and cracked black pepper. On the palate, it exhibits a full-bodied profile with generous core weight, supported by ripe, structured tannins that lend shape without harshness. The finish is long and savory, highlighting lingering dark berries and spice.

Heartland "Spice Trader" Cabernet Sauvignon (Langhorne Creek, Australia) - Crafted by winemaker Ben Glaetzer in the maritime-influenced Langhorne Creek region, this Cabernet opens with fragrant blackcurrant, dark plum jam, dried thyme, and subtle toasted oak. The palate offers generous berry intensity backed by a supple, mouthcoating texture and silky, polished tannins. Cooling breezes off nearby Lake Alexandrina preserve natural acidity, keeping the ripe dark fruit remarkably fresh and focused through a long, spice-laced finish.

Galerna Garnacha (Tierra de Castilla, Spain) - Produced from organically and biodynamically farmed vines by Dominio de Punctum, this Garnacha shows an intense cherry hue with violet highlights. The nose opens with vibrant black cherry, fresh raspberry, dried potpourri, and a touch of wintergreen. On the palate, it is smooth and inviting, offering juicy red fruit flavors layered with subtle notes of cedar, leather, and soft baking spice. Balanced by moderate, rounded tannins and refreshing acidity, it delivers a remarkably clean, dry finish.

Pietrame Montepulciano d'Abruzzo (Abruzzo, Italy) - Sourced from vineyards situated between the Adriatic coast and the Apennine Mountains, this wine shows a deep ruby color and a complex nose of crushed red cherry, wild blackberry, orange peel, and dried herbs. The palate is medium-to-full-bodied with juicy dark fruit, notes of liquorice, and a touch of wild spice. Soft, fine-grained tannins provide gentle structure, while bright natural acidity keeps the fruit lively and fresh across a long, satisfying finish.
