Domaine de Montrose Rose

Domaine Montrose is a family owned estate that can trace its roots back to 1701 and is currently run by an 11th generation member of the family Olivier Coste.  The Domaine has achieved HVE3 certification, France's highest level of environmental certification, meaning that they not only farm organically, but operate the whole winery with top environmental considerations.  The aromas exhibit notes of small red berries, notably nervy strawberry, blood orange, white peach, and sometimes a light floral or warm herb accent. On the palate, it is light-bodied, well-balanced, and refreshing. It delivers a delicious, frozen-raspberry character with flavors of citrus and a subtle minerality. The wine has fresh acidity that keeps it crisp and finishes with a seductive texture.
