Winemaker Notes

An intense bouquet with violets, rose and forest flowers with loads of wild berries, forest floor and baking spice. It’s a wine that feels round and silky, and upon initial tasting you wouldn't expect it to have such lingering tannins and a lasting finish... but it does.  In the mouth it has flavors of blackberry kirsch, white pepper and licorice notes supported by dry, dark fruits, forest floor earth and spice throughout.
