Domaine de la Chapelle Bizot was founded in the early 19th century by the Bizot family, whose passion for winemaking has been passed down through generations. Today, Jean-Luc Bizot, a descendant of the founding family and a Burgundy-trained oenologist, oversees the winery. His deep respect for tradition, combined with a modern approach, ensures that every bottle reflects the essence of his Chiroubles vineyards. Chiroubles, one of the ten crus of the Beaujolais region, is celebrated for its steep, granite slopes and high elevations, the highest of all the Beaujolais crus. Known for its light body and color, delicate tannins, and elegant florality, Chiroubles is often considered the most 'feminine' expression of Beaujolais. Domaine de la Chapelle Bizot’s Chiroubles showcases fresh flavors of red plum, raspberry, and strawberry, complemented by delicate notes of peony and dried herbs.
