Aromatically, it opens with ripe cassis, blackberry, and boysenberry, intertwined with floral notes of violets and subtle graphite. On the palate, the wine is rich and concentrated, revealing flavors of dark chocolate, dried figs, plum, and raspberry, all wrapped in a silky mouthfeel with fine-grained tannins and a glycerol finish. The structure is polished yet powerful, with a balanced oak presence from aging in 33% new French oak and 67% neutral barrels over 20 months.
