If you've ever been to Europe and eaten in a local cafe or restaurant you know that the wines are often cheap, locally produced and unexpectedly delicious. Usually made in such small amounts that the wines are rarely seen outside their local region. Sirio Montepulciano is a perfect example of this type of wine that we're lucky enough to have Manuel bringing to North Carolina. Crafted by the San Lorenzo family utilizing classic techniques, native yeasts and bottled unoaked to emphasize the true nature of the grape and region. This wine is a real crowd-pleaser showing aromas and flavors of fresh black fruit and distinct savory herbs and spices will pair well with our favorite pizza or red sauce pasta.
