Winemaker Notes

It is a Vermentino di Bolgheri, which is vinified in purity. Its name expresses the very close link between this Mediterranean grape variety and the Bolgheri terroir: it is in fact essentially the result of work in the vineyard and ripening in the sun. In this wine, desired and loved by Marilisa Allegrini, you can find the colors, aromas and authentic flavors of these lands so close to the sea.

A beautiful vermentino with sliced apple and pear and hints of ginger. Medium body with a lovely depth and richness yet it remains energetic. Light bitterness at the end. Serious Vermentino.

The 2022 Vermentino Solosole is a delight. Candied lime, ginger, passionfruit and crushed rocks are nicely delineated in this crisp, exotic Vermentino. The unusual flavor profile makes Solosole a delicious white to drink either as an aperitif or at the dinner table.
