The Robert Weil line of estate wines begins with this medium-bodied dry Riesling that shows the typical density and power of the Rheingau region, but is more affordable than the ultra-classy single-vineyard wines. The Riesling Trocken is pure and intense, with a stony richness and a lively, well-balanced structure.

The 2021 Rheingau Riesling Trocken is clear and fresh but a little bit dull on the nose, as if there were a layer of paper between the fruit and nose. Round and lush on the palate, this is a quite rich and juicy estate Riesling with vibrant mineral acidity and a well-structured, persistent finish. Excellent. 12% stated alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted in July 2022. Anticipated Maturity: 2022-2037

Very clean and direct, but lacking in charm, this white shows subtle orchard fruit notes.
