Sampler Includes 1 Bottle Each
Hidden Sea Rose (Limestone Coast, Australia)
This vibrant South Australian rose is a unique and energetic blend of Shiraz, Fiano, and Sauvignon Blanc, leading with expressive aromas of fresh strawberries and raspberries accented by a subtle citrus lift. The palate is medium-bodied and exceptionally crisp, delivering a clean finish defined by bright acidity and a thirst-quenching purity of fruit. Beyond the technical merits of the wine, the winery is committed to significant environmental stewardship, removing the equivalent of ten plastic bottles from the ocean for every bottle sold. This dedication to sustainability mirrors the clean, maritime influence found in the glass, where the Limestone Coast’s unique geography lends a refreshing salinity and crunchy minerality to the final profile.
La Craie Vouvray (Loire Valley, France)
Crafted from 100% Chenin Blanc grown on the region's iconic tuffeau limestone soils, this Vouvray displays a classic profile of honeyed pear, green apple, and wet stone. The texture is soft and approachable, featuring a light demi-sec style where a touch of residual sugar is perfectly balanced by the grape's natural high acidity. This tension between sweetness and zest creates a sophisticated mouthfeel that evolves as the wine warms in the glass, revealing deeper layers of quince and acacia. The limestone terroir is evident in the chalky mineral backbone, ensuring the wine remains focused and elegant from the first aromatic hit to the fading notes of beeswax and citrus peel on the finish.
Domaine de Rombeau "Ceramista Blanc" (Cotes du Roussillon, France)
A Mediterranean blend of 50% Grenache Blanc and 50% Grenache Gris, this white wine offers a sophisticated aromatic profile of white peach, fennel, and sea spray. The palate is rounded yet fresh, showing citrus blossom and a distinct saline minerality that reflects its coastal origin in the Roussillon. The "Ceramista" designation highlights the artistry of the blend, which balances the weight and texture of the Grenache Gris with the high-toned, floral aromatics of the Grenache Blanc. It provides a persistent, refreshing finish that lingers with a hint of wild garrigue and crushed stones, embodying the warmth and complexity of Southern France in a bright, modern style.
Weingut Hauck Blanc de Noir Trocken (Rheinhessen, Germany)
This white wine is crafted from 100% gently pressed Pinot Noir grapes, resulting in a delicate texture and a faint salmon hue that hints at its red grape origins. Aromas of wild strawberry and red apple skin transition into a lively palate defined by crisp acidity and notes of white peach and melon. As a "Trocken" or dry bottling, it emphasizes the structural precision and lean minerality for which the Rheinhessen is increasingly renowned. The absence of skin contact ensures the wine retains the elegance of a white wine while borrowing the structural weight and red-fruit aromatics of Pinot Noir, resulting in a nuanced and layered drinking experience that is remarkably refreshing.
Lacroix Bordeaux Superieur (Saint-Emilion, France)
Produced by visionary winemaker Jonathan Maltus, this selection remains one of the most reliable values in the region and is composed of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. The wine offers a polished, fruit-forward profile featuring ripe black cherry, plum, and subtle hints of cocoa and cedar. On the palate, it is supple and approachable with soft tannins and a fresh, lively acidity that provides excellent structure without being overly aggressive. The influence of the Saint-Emilion terroir is clear in the wine's earthy undertones and graphite-like finish, marking it as a sophisticated expression of Right Bank Bordeaux that prioritizes balance and fruit clarity.
Exit West Red Blend (Lake County, California)
This robust California blend is primarily composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Petite Sirah, resulting in a dark, concentrated profile of blueberry compote and warm blackberry. Aging in French oak adds sophisticated layers of cocoa, vanilla, and baking spices to the plush, velvety palate. The high-altitude vineyards of Lake County contribute to the wine's intense color and firm tannin structure, which are softened by the natural ripeness of the fruit. This is a powerful, full-throttle red that maintains its composure through a long, silky finish, showcasing the depth and extraction possible in Northern California’s volcanic soils. Winery Suggested Retail: $25.00
Chateau de Pizay Beaujolais (Burgundy, France)
Sourced from the heart of the region, this 100% Gamay is characterized by its bright ruby color and expressive scents of black raspberry and violets. The palate is medium-bodied with soft, plummy tannins and a succulent finish that emphasizes fresh fruit purity and a characteristic granite-driven minerality. Chateau de Pizay is one of the oldest and most respected estates in the region, and this bottling reflects that heritage through its balance of bright acidity and floral complexity. It is a quintessential expression of the Gamay grape, offering a joyful, fruit-centric profile that remains grounded by a classic Burgundian structure and a subtle hint of cracked black pepper.
Ladies Who Shoot Their Lunch Shiraz (Victoria, Australia)
Deeply colored, cool‑climate style that balances richness with aromatic lift. It opens with vivid notes of ripe red berries intertwined with violet and a streak of white pepper, creating an impression that is both bright and savory. As it settles on the palate, the wine broadens into layers of forest fruits, cherry, blackcurrant, and peppery spice, supported by a soft but textured mouthfeel that gives it shape without heaviness. Subtle hints of vanilla and plum appear toward the finish, which remains fresh, elegant, and gently spiced. The overall character is one of intensity and finesse, combining aromatic vibrancy with the structured, slightly wild edge that defines this label.
Marino Abate "Lapa" Nero d'Avola (Sicily, Italy)
Produced from 100% certified organic Nero d'Avola, this wine is a pure expression of Sicilian terroir with intense dark fruit and herbal complexities. The palate reveals layers of blackberry and plum integrated with hints of chocolate and tobacco, supported by a sturdy but smooth structure. The coastal influence of the Marsala region provides a subtle Mediterranean salinity that cuts through the ripeness of the fruit. This is a wine of rustic elegance, showcasing the sun-drenched character of Sicily while maintaining a sophisticated balance of tannin and acidity that ensures a lingering, savory finish marked by notes of wild oregano and black olive.
Mas Doix "Les Crestes" Priorat (Priorat, Spain)
A powerful blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Carignan, and 10% Syrah, this wine offers a deep violet hue and an aromatic profile of crushed stone, mocha, and clove. The palate is dense with black fruit and licorice, framed by the characteristic mineral grip that defines the "llicorella" slate soils of Priorat. The old-vine Grenache provides a core of sweet red fruit, while the Carignan and Syrah add structural depth and dark-fruited intensity. It is a highly structured wine that reveals its complexity in layers, moving from primary fruit to secondary notes of anise and dried herbs, and will continue to evolve beautifully with air.
Mollydooker "The Scooter" Merlot (McLaren Vale, Australia)
This 100% Merlot is famously bold and fruit-forward, featuring the winery’s signature "Marquis Fruit Weight" and a dense, velvety mouthfeel. Rich flavors of dark chocolate and plum are accented by warm notes of chai tea and dried florals on the finish. The McLaren Vale climate allows for incredible ripeness, which Mollydooker harnesses to create a wine of immense scale and intensity. Despite its power, the tannins remain remarkably soft and integrated, leading to a decadent profile that is both plush and expansive across the palate, finishing with lingering notes of vanilla bean and spice.
Bodegas Perica "6 Cepas" Rioja Tinto (Rioja, Spain)
This unique bottling is 100% Tempranillo and sits between the traditional Tinto and Crianza styles, offering more complexity than a standard young wine without the heavy oak influence of longer aging. It displays an intense ruby red color with a harmonious blend of red berries, toasted oak, and sweet spice. The structure is well-defined yet the tannins remain supple, leading to a long and balanced finish that showcases the quality of the estate's high-altitude vineyards in Rioja Alta. This is a focused and deliberate expression of Tempranillo that emphasizes fruit clarity and structural balance over secondary wood characteristics, providing a clean and elegant finish.
