Domaine Bellevue Touraine Gamay

Perched high above the Cher River in Noyers-sur-Cher, Domaine Bellevue has been guided by winemaker Patrick Vauvy since 1985, representing the fourth generation of family stewardship. Spanning 40 hectares across a mosaic of siliceous sand, gravel, and clay-limestone soils, the estate emphasizes precision, sustainability, and expressive single-varietal winemaking. While the region is often known for white wines, Vauvy gives equal focus to Gamay, taking full advantage of Touraine's cool climate to craft reds defined by bright fruit, effortless drinkability, and remarkable value.

The Domaine Bellevue Touraine Gamay delivers an energetic, fruit-forward profile packed with signature Loire charm. Bright ruby-purple in color, it leaps from the glass with aromas of crushed wild blackberries, ripe dark cherries, subtle black pepper, and a faint hint of dried herbs. On the palate, it is supple and juicy, balancing a core of tart red currant and plum against fine, coated tannins and a snappy mineral core. Lively and refreshing—especially when served with a light chill—it makes a fantastic pairing for dry-cured charcuterie, grilled sausages, roasted pork, or soft goat cheeses.
