Crafted exclusively from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Sleeping Lady Vineyard in Yountville, the 2018 Ad Vivum opens with a deep garnet-purple hue and an aromatic bouquet of blackcurrant jelly, warm plums, mulberries, and black raspberries, accented by floral notes of roses and violets, hints of anise, tar, and earthy undertones. On the palate, it is full-bodied and tightly knit, with firm, ripe, grainy tannins and vibrant acidity that support its complex layers.
