Bouchard Pere & Fils 2019 Beaune du Chateau Premier Cru Blanc

 Established in 1731, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of the oldest and most diverse Estate in Burgundy with approximately 130 ha (320 acres) of vineyards, the majority of which are Premiers and Grands Crus.

Bouchard Pere & Fils has released the Beaune du Chateau wine, a Bouchard exclusivity, every year since 1907. A blend of several Premier Cru parcels, it combines the many facets of the Beaune terroir in one wine.  The 2019 has a pale gold/gold color with green shades. It has aromas of white flesh fruit, candied citrus, brioche, and gingerbread. The taste reveals richness, subtle oak, and dried fruit flavors. Offers aromas of pear, white flowers, and peaches with a touch of oak. It is medium to full-bodied, rich, lively, and textural with good underlying acidity. This wine provides a charming, expressive introduction to the vintage, appellation, and the top wines from Bouchard.
