Kikusui’s Funaguchi Red Can—officially the Jukusei Ginjo Nama Genshu—offers a bold, full-bodied experience shaped by one year of low-temperature aging. Unlike its fresher Gold sibling, the Red Can develops a velvety texture and deeper complexity, with cereal and earthy undertones layered beneath a mellow sweetness. The nose reveals ricey, yeasty, and slightly tangy aromas, while the palate leans into nectar, honey, and fruit juice notes with a soft, semi-fat flow. Despite its undiluted 19% ABV, it drinks surprisingly smooth, with a clean finish that balances its richness

 The 200ml (one cup) cans allow for easy, light weight transport and they don't need to be constantly refrigerated like glass bottled namas.
