Alma de Cattleya 2023 Rose of Pinot Noir

Winemaker Notes

The fruit for this Rosé of Pinot Noir comes from the cool hillsides of the Sonoma Coast. Grapes are handpicked at night and delivered to the winery at very low temperatures. This wine is a combination of saignée juice and hand-sorted Pinot Noir clusters that are pressed and carefully transferred to neutral barrels or stainless-steel tanks to start very cold fermentation. The result is a crisp, savory rosé with intense and complex aromatics.
Contained within shades of salmon and coral, this beautiful rosé of Pinot Noir exudes notes of macerated strawberry, ruby grapefruit, and crushed white flowers. On the palate, flavors of red raspberry, watermelon, and orange peel with a hint of crisp white peach dance on the glass before a lively, unmistakably fresh finish.
