Trujillo 2020 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This 2020 Cabernet has plush, uplifting sweet aromatics of dusty cocoa, dark cherry, sweet tobacco, and a hint of sweet licorice with spicy cedar. Perfectly balanced and somewhat polished in its velvety texture, but generous with full rich flavors of dark cherry, currant, and bittersweet chocolate, befall seamlessly to a lush and lengthy finish. I folded in just a bit of Malbec, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot from the 2021 vintage to hone the aromatics and texture to the finished wine.

This 2020 Cabernet will always be about its finesse and will gracefully develop for many years to come.
