Winemaker Notes

Medium deep red.  Red fruit pastilles with dark cherry and perfumed violets lift up from glass with a touch of spice popping out. Soft, ripe blue and red berries follow on to the palate. Shiraz providing a bright mouthful of plush darker fruit, with Tempranillo chiming in with blueberry and red liquorice notes before offering providing a deliciously savory tannin profile with lifted baking spices. Perfect blending companions, Tempranillo provides aromatic lift and a rustic textural element to the soft richness of the Shiraz. No new oak here, so the fruit really sings.
