The Peyrassol 2025 Les Commandeurs Côtes de Provence Rosé is a classic, dry, and elegantly pale pink organic wine that beautifully showcases the benchmark Provençal style. Crafted by the historic estate, this vintage is composed of a traditional southern blend featuring 50% Grenache, which infuses the wine with red fruit vibrancy, alongside 35% Cinsault and 15% Syrah. On the nose, it offers enticing aromas of small wild berries, red currant, and gooseberry layered over delicate high tones of white blossom, lavender, and a subtle touch of spicy juniper. The palate is crisp, lively, and beautifully textured from short aging on fine lees, presenting a juicy, fleshy core of watermelon, fresh nectarine, peach, and guava balanced by energetic, tangy notes of exotic citrus and orange zest. This harmonious mouthfeel finishes clean and refreshing with a signature framing of flinty, saline minerality.This versatile, food-friendly rosé pairs exceptionally well with a variety of light, gourmet dishes and vibrant Mediterranean flavors. It is an excellent match for fresh seafood and Provençal classics, such as grilled sea bass, bouillabaisse, salade niçoise, octopus salad marinated in lemon and herbs, or light fish and beef tartares.
