Tasting Notes

The 2018 Don Melchor opens with layered aromas of cassis, blackberry, plum, violets, graphite, cedar, and subtle tobacco. On the palate it is elegant yet powerful, showing concentrated dark fruit, cocoa, fresh herbs, and fine‑grained tannins supported by vibrant acidity. The blend is anchored by Cabernet Sauvignon with small portions of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, each contributing aromatic lift, mid‑palate richness, and structural finesse.
