Tasting Notes

The 2017 Fortuna Terrae Malbec shows a lifted aromatic profile with spicy black fruits, violets, herbal tones, and subtle mocha. On the palate it is rich yet elegant, offering concentrated blackberry, boysenberry, and blackcurrant layered with chalky minerality and a long, structured finish. The wine is made entirely from Malbec grown in the deep loamy, limestone‑influenced soils of the Adrianna Vineyard’s Fortuna Terrae parcel, which sits at 1,366 meters in Gualtallary. Its freshness, moderate acidity, and floral delicacy make it a versatile partner for food, pairing beautifully with beef and lamb, as well as dishes featuring earthy or smoky components.
