Crossroads by Rudd 2021 Oakville Cabernet Franc

The unique qualities of the Cabernet Franc grown on the Oakville Estate have long made the entire winemaking team wishful to create a wine that lets this varietal shine, and the 2019 vintage gave us the perfect fruit to do so. A friendly bouquet of tart red cherry, fresh herbs, and graphite inspired an intoxicating combination of aromas. The palate is playful, bouncing back and forth between ripe plum, fresh green olive, and dusty cocoa tannins, making this a complex and complete wine. Whether enjoyed at the end of long ski day by a snowy fire pit or paired with grilled tri-tip during a summer BBQs with friends, there is not a bad time to enjoy this wine.
