The husband-and-wife team of Mark Porembski and Jennifer Williams crafted their 395 case 2016 Cabernet from three outstanding Napa Valley vineyards. Sleeping Lady in Yountville – the source of their 99 point flagship wine – gives deep fruit and classic structure. St. Helena's Lewelling Ranch, continuously farmed since 1864, add richness and flesh and a connection to Napa history. Lastly Farella Vineyard in Coombesville gives a welcome sense of freshness and drive. Add in that 2016 is one of Napa’s greatest Cabernet vintages ever, and it’s hardly shocking that this is the most complete and currently the best drinking wine of the Zeitgeist lineup. Best of all, its 50% less than their single vineyard wines.

"Checking in as a blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc from a number of top vineyards in the valley, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley spent 22 months in oak prior to bottling. In the running for one of the top Cabernets for under 100 dollars, this beauty has fabulous purity and elegance as well as a complex style in its sweet black fruits, licorice, spice, and subtle oak. Sort, forward, and ready to go, it should nevertheless cruise for 10-15 years in cold cellars."
