The wine is strikingly fragrant, with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, spiced cherry candy, sandalwood, hard leather, blackberry tobacco leaf, spice box, and peppercorn. Bold and delicious on the palate, with blackberry compote, black cherry juice, hard leather, dark mineral, tobacco leaf, spice box, grilled fennel, and black pepper. In normal years many of the grapes used to craft this special version of the Foundation Red would go into much more expensive bottlings, so grab this limited bargain while you can!
